Los Angeles based artist manager, music journalist, and writer.
Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Grace grew up immersed in the Los Angeles DIY scene. Her natural affinity for music stuck with her through the years and informed her college radio show at 91.9 KCSB, her first staff writing position at The Young Folks, and her presence at a slew of house shows in Isla Vista during her time at UC Santa Barbara. Throughout her senior year, in the midst of Covid-19, she hosted virtual artist interviews and live sessions for up-and-coming musicians by way of B-Drop TV. It was B-Drop that connected her with the publicist she’d go on to assist at music PR and artist services firm Illustrated Sounds.
While at Illustrated Sounds, Grace formed relationships with journalists and outlets who possessed similar interests to her. Those interests included advocating for small, undiscovered artists, covering house show scenes on college campuses, the future of surf rock, and female rock vocalists. Through her friendships with music journalists and close proximity to the stories they told, Grace decided that reporting on music was a passion of hers as well. She started writing for artist discovery platform Fashionably Early, Melodic Magazine, Atwood Magazine, and OnestoWatch. In February of 2024, she launched her own interview series called Left My Heart in the Pit. Her greatest thrills include snapping photos at concerts, researching musicians in depth to ask them the questions they really want to be asked, and discovering new artists first.
Grace’s work in music journalism led her to A&R scouting positions at UnderCurrent Entertainment and APG along with her current role as the manager of Vindigo (Dakota Brubaker). She’s coordinated sync placements on Amazon’s Invincible, booked shows (the Lodge Room, El Cid, etc.), secured press placements, produced content shoots, and overseen roll out for multiple releases. Management continues to be the most rewarding and exciting facet of her career to date.
